Default wood crossfeed table for saddle milling

I came up with this solution to mill the saddle on my CNC conversion. worked out better than i thought. no flying tools or work!

cross feed table is made out of 3/4" and 1/2" baltic birch plywood. glued and screwed. tried to match the ways to the machine at 30 degrees. used the original y lead screw anb fab'd quick n dirty x.

    i think it held about a .0005"

    A+ for engineering.

You just need to get the backlash down to .002 and your good!

What do you need all that cast iron for? Just build the whole thing out of wood!
