I use 99% isopropyl on mine and it seems to work quite well on aluminum, but I admittedly have not tried a ton of other options. The no residue to clean up is a very nice aspect though.
Does anyone have any good tips on the best fluids/lubricants to use in an MQL system? I have this MQL system fitted up on my Heiz router.
I can currently cut aluminium quite nicely if a little slow, in this case I just dab some lubricant onto the work piece, someone told me to use normal water based coolant someone else said alcohol but were not specific on what type.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks
Barrie
