So this afternoon was go time. Coolant tank cleaned and a fresh batch of coolant. Found an oil leak a fitting for the oiler system. Fixed that. Found a leak at the pump fittings. Fixe that. Warmed up the spindle and table and setup to recut the piece I ran but failed to complete. Ran perfectly and the finish is great even having re-used the same chip welded end mill after cleaning it up. I simply sounds more solid than the BF20L.
I turned my adblocker off for the site thinking photos might appear, and wow, what a hot mess! It hot linked "coolant tank" in your above post to ebay, lol. Terrible bit of advertising.
Started working on getting the little BF20L ready to go to a new home. Cleaned up a bunch of the manual machining on the motor mounts, cleaned and lubed everything and did some work on making the power drawbar a bit nicer.
Before...
After...
Ordered some cable chain and some new limit switches and will get all the wiring cleaned up next weekend.
