    Default Seized Ball Screw

    Evening all,

I apparently over extended my double ballscrew and caused it to Jam. I was able to to get the one half that was jammed off. But when I re-packed and put it back on, it seized and now won't twist enough to get it off. Am I totally screwed, or is this something that can be fixed? If it can be fixed, how?

    Thanks for your time.

    Ok,

I got it unseized I've got it repacked, and I've got it back on the ballscrew. What is the proper procedure for combining the two nuts? There are the two half ring things, with the two bars and screws. I have it back together now, with the slightest amount of play between the two. Is this normal?
