Before I do this the hard way.... 3d printing parts from an assembly.
Complete fusion 360 newbie here...
I have a single fusion 360 assembly drawing, with many constituent parts (bodies).
What is the easiest way to get all the parts layed out into an stl file for 3d printing? Just go through the assembly tree and do a save as mesh on each body?
Or does fusion 360 have a tool that will give me a single stl file with all the parts neatly laid out in the correct orientation for printing?

Organize the parts so the bottom of each is on the same plane. The Arrange command may work, otherwise you can use planar joints if individual parts are components (and they should be). If all of the parts are not on the same plane, I would create a new component, then Copy/Paste each part into the component as subcomponents. Use the Save As Mesh command on the parent component.
