HAAS VF2 NGC & HSM post files names.. max 6 numbers??

So I augmented my Tormach PCNC1100 with a new HAAS VF2SS with the Next Gen Controls. sweet..
I use Solidworks and HSMWorks for solidworks.. latest NGC post.

the post will only allow me to name the file with numbers, a max of 6 characters... yet the HAAS will accept letters and such in the file name.

so I'm confused.. why? looking at a list of .nc file with just numbers in the name gets uber-confusing..

Hi,

it is only in post setting. You can set what ever you want. If you will need some changes let me know.

All i'm really looking for is removing the file name restrictions
