Have you checked to see if this is a feature they've dropped from the version you're using? The general strategy is to get people to use the program for cheap or free, then eliminate features to force them to pay if they want to keep using them.

Can you export your f3d file and zip it, then upload it here for one of us to see how it works with the full-blown F360 version? It'll have to be in zip format to upload. You don't even have to really zip it unless you want to or if it's a large file, just rename the file extension type from f3d to zip.

Try selecting only the outside chain. Seems to work for me. Now why it doesn't work like before, I have no idea.

In fusion the engrave tool path is a bit misleading. Try using trace instead of engrave.

Here is a video that explains it.

I just took a look at your last posted part. It seems that the heights need to be adjusted to get it to cut correctly. Note the Bottom Height, this could be done differently. I would normally select the top surface and select the offset from there. But this still does not explain the difference between the older version and the new version of software. I have the paid version of Fusion 360, Ver 2.0.13162

Open the photo for laser engraving on wood, then resize and crop the photo to the final size you are going to engrave. Note: It's very important not to change the size of your photo once you convert the photo to a Black and White 1-bit photo in the final step of this process. I changed my all website(https://applicontech.com and https://www.mazuzee.com) photos in the same manner
