Default Using Fusion360 to make Gcode for 80% lower

I am trying to get the toolpath for cutting an 80% lower for myself. I have the model in Fusion but just can't understand why using a 3/8 endmill wont generate a toolbath but if i go smaller it will. The pocket should let a 3/8" cutter in. Id there anybody that has done this can help me get started.

    THANKS!

What type tool path are you using? Depending on the tool path it could be a % stepover issue.

I think you want to reduce the helical ramp diameter, but I don't use that tool path often so I'm not 100%.

Yes, as above: it's most likely a helical ramp down diameter or a lead-in issue of some type. Just drill a hole a bit over 3/8", and as deep as possible as far forward in the well as possible, and then plunge down dead center in that hole and start machining from there.

You can download a g-code for it from here:

    https://github.com/ghostguns/80lower...0-Lower-G-CODE

It doesn't do a helical ramp, but rather ramps on the perimeter runs. Worked fine for me.
