Default Help with creating bracket in fusion

    Hi Guys

Can someone help with designing a support bracket for my kress spindle?

I need a bracket that will have support the kress on my cnc. i need the bracket to wrap around the part just above the on button but i am unsure how i can create the object to correctly wrap around the spindle.

can i create a line that will follow the shape of the spindle? so the bracket can wrap around the spindle and secure it from the font and back.

    Maybe...

Create a construction plane at the point where you want your bracket.

Use that plane to "slice" your spindle/model in half at that point.

Then create a sketch and project the edges produced by slicing the part.

Create your bracket model off that sketch.

    -------

    Or....

Just create a body of the plate that you want to make, and leave it complete solid.

Move the spindle "into it" in the correct location, and then use the spindle as a "cut tool" to remove/cut out the plate.
