Hi folks, so it looks like I am inches away from owning a new 6040 CNC, it will be about a month before I receive it assuming I pull the trigger in the next few days.
In the meantime I'd like to have some reading material to get up to speed a little before it arrives.
I know this forum and youtube is a fantastic resource, and I will be grateful soaking up a lot from that, but I spend many hours in front of a screen and would like a book to hold in my hand and have as quick reference down the line.
I will most likely be using Mach 3 and Fusion 360.
I realise I may not get everything I want from one book, but looking on Amazon there are some very mixed reviews on all the beginners guides.
I want to have some reference for tooling , feeds and speeds for different materials and general hints tips and newbie stuff.
Any experience with books you have enjoyed or found helpful would be very much appreciated.
Cheers
SV
