Newbie: After help/opinions on the machine I'm looking at buying
Hi All,
I'm new to all this and was just about to purchase a LT-1212 CNC Router from Shandong Lintianzhiyuan CNC Equipment Co.,Ltd when I found this forum and thought I better get some input.
Has anyone purchased from the above company before? Is there a comparable CNC that you'd recommend instead?
I'm just a hobbyist but would still like it to be fairly accurate and looking to spend around $4000. I'm in Brisbane and would prefer to buy local (Australia) if possible, but happy to purchase from anywhere.
Please any information/guidance would be greatly appreciated. I've attached the details of the CNC Router I have been looking at below.
Thanks in advance
Tam

have you had a look at 3dtek https://3dtek.xyz
i purchased the "heavy mill" 1000mm x 1000mm flat bed router. you have to be sort of tech savvy but their is heaps of instructional information avaliable. as for a hobbyists i highly reccomend. the machine is mainly aluminium construction with a good ridgit gantry. few mods could be done but i have had great results. i mainly work with wood and acrylics.
