    Default VETRIC ASPIRE - TROUBLE

    Good morning everyone,

I recently built a 5 x 8 CNC wood router. I am trying to learn this aspire program and all is going pretty well but I do have a question. Im sure many of you have seen the picture of the American flag that is machined in wood to look like it has waves in it like the wind is blowing it. It has the stars and stripes and then has a large eagle standing slightly raised from the surface. I have used the two rail sweep to get the waves and have created the stars and stripes and even put the eagle on it but my problem is making the machine cut everything to follow the contour of the waves in the base. The waves are approx. raised and or lowered a quarter of an inch but when I preview or actually cut the toolpath everything cuts as if the base is flat and does not follow the contours. If anyone has a suggestion I would love your input.

Thank You very much in advance.
