V-Carving Text sequence

How's the V-Carving tool path sequences derived? I'd like to be able to manipulate it to not jump around and make it more like natural human writing, from left to right, top to bottom.

You don't say what software and version you are using. In Aspire or VCarve you can select"Use Vector Start Points" or "Use Vector Selection Order". A little searching should provide specific instructions.
You may be limited as to exactly what you can do.
