    Default x and y

1 have a 5x10 router, i drew up a project on artcam but when i put it in mach3 my x and y are in the wrong directions, i want to know if i can rotate my project with my tool paths without starting over. i tried rotate in artcam pro but it didst change anything. and while im at it can i change the x and y in my artcam because right now it x going across the bottom of my screen and i would like y. y is the longer direction on my machine 10'y 5'x help

Don't know about Artcam features but in Autodesk if my X is the longest side and I need the longest on the Y instead I can:

    1. In 3D model select modify.
    2. Move bodies - rotate about a line.
    3. Select corner line - Rotate 90degrees - done

Now the longest side is on the Y axis.
This is done in the CAD side not my CAM though. But at least I don't have to redraw it. I just need to re-edit the CAM afterwards.

Sorry if this is no help.

I'm wondering if you can't change the project itself and really needed to workaround it. You could swap the X & Y drives around on the machine itself just to get the one project done.
I don't know if it would work tbf but....

This is done on the CAD side, not in my CAM. But at the very least, I won't have to redo it. After that, I only need to re-edit the CAM. https://en.industryarena.com/forum/geometry dash subzero
