Tell ArtCAM that the endmill is 9.98mm rather than 10mm, that's what I do in CamBam.
Hi All,
I use ArtCAM and can design & mill straight forward shapes with area clearences, inside and outside profiles, etc. This one thing defeats me. I want to mill a 10mm wide slot, 30mm deep, using a 10mm router bit. How do I get ArtCAM to let the router bit just run up and down the slot until it reaches 30mm, exactly 10mm wide?
Cheers
Gary

Can't you just draw a line or vector and use a profile toolpath on the line?

Gerry, that will work if you do an engrave operation.
