Program Arduino Uno to 2DM860H Microstep driver to Nema 34 Stepper Motor

I am brand new to Stepper Motors and Arduino.
Have got all wiring and power connected and Motor will run 1 Revolution forward and 1 revolution reverse.
I need to get it to turn 45 revolutions forward and 45 revolutions reverse.
Ideally forward speed will be at 45 RPM with the reverse speed at approx 300 RPM
How do I program it this way?

Flash the arduino with GRBL and use a second computer to send GCodes to the arduino (GRBL). This way you can run run forward and reverse by just sending 2 lines of GCodes.
