DIY CNC 2417 router/laser

Hi everyone,

First of all, I think that I am totally out of my depth with regard to setting up my mini 2417 router with laser.

I am at a loss with regard to setting up Grbl. I have all the necessary info but what I cant figure out is exactly where to install it, i.e., progam, file or folder????

I know it is a pretty basic query but I am very inexperienced and would greatly appreciate all pointers.
