arduino hall effects sensor

cnc-breakout-board-st-v2_01.jpgs-l300.jpg Can anyone tell me if i can use a aduino hall effects sensor with a chinese 5 axis controller?Im using the a0,5volt and ground on the hall effects sensor and limit 15 ,ground and 5 volt on the 5 axis
controller.I mostly need to know if the pair should work together knowing that the arduino utilizes code to make the sensors work.Im using mach3 turn and am using it for spindle tachometer.I can always cut the hall sensor off the arduino board and solder it up to a resistor.The
arduino board looked like a good setup.any help on the subject would be appreciated.I put pictures of the devices.
