I have a HF 12 speed Mill/Drill. When milling aluminum, how fast do I turn the end mill and how many inches per minute to move?

Thanks in advance.

What diameter tool, what kind of tool (High speed steel or carbide), how many cutting flutes on the tool (2,3 or 4)?

When ever someone asks about speeds and feeds ( and I see the post)I mention this software by Michael Rainey, which has been so useful to me and others, it has a lot of other useful specs as well as end mills, presently free but a Pro version is in Beta. ME Consultant

That is exactly what I need. Unfortunately, the download does not work. Does anyone know of an alternate site?

EDIT: Found it searching other locations. Same download site, but the download link worked.

Thanks.

It is extremely helpful isn't it, hope you upgrade to the PRO when it is available, this will help him help us even more :)

I really like the spot drill, just select the included angle, desired finished raidius and it calculates the needed depth of cut.

PS:
I have zero connections with Michael Rainey other then using and recommending his software.
