There was a thread where someone asked about getting an xy table to use with their drill press. Any one know where that thread is?

What size do you need?

I think mscdirect and mcmaster have some half decent ones if I remember correctly.

In my KBC Canada monthly sale flyerthe have 1 for $347 CDN.
I would assume if you check their US site it will be on sale there as well.
It is a "Palmgren"

If the x y travel of 12 x 7 is acceptable look at this table for 119.00 on sale from enco. Its plenty rigid. I put it on my 7045fg Lathmaster bench mill and it handled steel and cast iron milling quite nicely. I plan to add cnc to my xy table and put it on the 7045fg bench mill for 2d milling operations and still retain manual operation of the 7045fg.

A guy on ebay sells a cast iron x-y table of really nice quality for 79.00. It's the same one swede used for his x-y. I just got one recently to use as my t-slot table, much as swede did, and it seems very nice.

I haven't seen the table you mention, it sounds like the small enco which is 68 bucks. The table I have has a full 12 inches travel on the x axis and 7 inches travel on y axis. Table on mine is a bit over 6 inches by about 20 inches.

John, no it's not the enco....it's the larger 7x12 travel....

Well that looks like a pretty good price for a table. Heck, I was happy with mine at 119.00 bucks from enco. You might post a picture of yours so I can compare castings. Both the enco and the palmgren have the same spec's (roughly). If I do another table I will have to look up his store. If you have it, I would like to check it out.
