Can someone give me a real world example of the NCPlot Rotate feature?

Can his feature be used similar to the Delcam PS-Fixture software?

For example, lets say you used your CAD/CAM to drill several holes in a part. You then remove the part from your mill table. Next, you want to place the same part and now tap the drilled holes. When you place the part back on the table (without using a fixture), the part is no longer exactly as the same position. Instead, there is a offset. Let's say this offset is 5 degrees. Some gcode software can rotate the gcode which therefore compensates for this offset. Does the NCPlot Rotate perform the just described feature?

How about the Cimco Edit software's Rotate feature?

Thanks,

The rotate feature does exactly what it says. I don't fully understand your question but it rotates the program number of degrees defined. I often use this to rotate programs 90°/180°.

How about the Cimco Edit software's Rotate feature?
Thanks,

I thought Cimco Edit came with Mastercam, or is it sold as a standalone as well?
