Worth a mention-

Turn complex 3 or 4 axis jobs into parts in minutes with ProtoWizard. ProtoWizard is driven by 3D STL files generated by any of your favorite CAD systems. Simply import the STL file or files of your design, select a roughing and finishing tool, and in minutes you have the G Code file for any of the most popular CNC Milling machines.

Protowizard is still around; here's a link to their site: http://www.protowizard.com/

I prefer DeskProto's system for holding onto rings and other small parts that jewelers cut in wax. It doesn't have any moving parts, so there's no "slop factor"; you simply loosen a screw and fasten the pre-drilled wax blank in another position for further milling. It has an adaptor to work on Sherline's (and Taig's) popular 4" rotary table as well as Roland machines. Here's a link to further information about it: http://www.deskproto.com/products/123waxring.htm
