I am interested in purchasing a mini mill .I am wondering why there is a big price difference between the HOMIER and MICROLUX mill. I read the specs on both machine and they are quite simular or am I missing something. Can anyone help me choose the right mill I will be converting it later to cnc and I will be milling aluminum, brass, copper etc. Thanks love the website

There are a lot of mini-mills in the Sieg X2 form. Here are a couple of places to look at comparison information.

Thanks for the reply cely I am still on the fence on which to buy .My heart is set on the homier. I just don't want to get stuck with a mill that doesn't do the job.

The Micro-mark is retrofitted with a different scale on the X and Y leadscrews -- .05" per turn compared to the .0625" (1/16") of the competitors. Whether or not that's an advantage is debatable, but the conversion costs money regardless.

I'd rather have the Homier's R8 taper myself.
