Would your 600oz-in servo motors be a good match for a Enco RF45 clone square column mill ( about the same size as a Industrial Hobbies mill) ?

I am ready to buy a kit for our conversion and dont know which servo's would be best. I am pretty sure the 1125oz-in motors you offer in your Nema34 kit is to big. I expect the 600 or 850oz-in motors will be best. The 600 runs at 6000RPM, the 850 runs at 4200RPM.

The 600oz-in motors should allow for a good gear reduction and plenty of resolution, but will it be enough torque ?

Do you offer the 600 or 850's in a kit form ? And which one would be best for a mill this size ?

The mill will be cutting aluminum and some lite steel with upto 6000rpm on the main spindle (veriable speed). But it will also have a high speed spindle added as a second spindle to do engraving.

I want to use the Gecko 320 drivers, and probably a C11 BOB and a Smooth Stepper.

Any help would be great.

Thanks Jess

Hey Keling, It looks like you mispelled your email address. I think it should end with inc, not icn. Hope this helps.
