Finaly somebody had the idea to creat a room only for swiss type machines. I think it is really good for the forum.

I just got a new Nexturn SA-20e, anybody has experience with this type a machine. I'm looking for examples, structure of program.

Thanks for your help,

I'm with you.

I work with Lathes ( Miyano, Nakamura) and some times with machine centers, but starting next month I get four "decos". ( I know nothing about it)

I see a lot of variables and some Fanuc in those programs, is going to be fun.
I'm sure will find help in the forum.

Be in touch

I'm still working with regular lathes but I am reading a book about Decos. I would like to understand the structure of the programs, I see a lot of variables and G code, not to many samples in my little book.

Do you know where I can get samples and anything about programming the Decos????

Thank you in advance.

Cedric -

Do you have to use software for programming, if yes what do you use??

Well if you need some examples I can send you some. But for that you will have to tell me with which version of TB-Deco do You work ? TB-Deco is the software which alows you to program the machine. The Deco 2000 are not build with CNC numerical control but PNC syteme. It's a little bit different than Fanuc you just have to know the basics.

What kind of machine do you work with Deco 10, 13, 20, 26 ?

See ya,

I'll check that tomorrow at work and let you know.

I really apreciate it.

Hi Cedric.

We have three 20
and one 13

Isn't this number only for capacity in mm. I'm assuming programming should be the same regardless of the size of the machine... right???

Thank you in advance

If files are to big here is my e mail

still need help on Nexturn program?

11-06-2007, 02:50 PM

Why not. I would like to see how do you program it. I did not like the different methodes from the instruction. I guess I found at least three. So I decided to make my own one.

But if I could compare it could be good.

Thanks for your help

They are pretty much the same. The exception would be the back working or pickoff spindle. The spindle moves in -X- and -Y- axis on the 20mm and the tools move on the 13mm. Therefore, you would program all of the outer diameters in negative on the 20mm and positive on the 13mm. Also, the parts ejection is slightly different on both machines.
