Scott,

Is there any chance that NCPlot could be configured to handle EMC2 O-words and parameters?

Example: This routine is nonsense but it illustrates the idea
%
O100 SUB [1] [2] ( where 1 and 2 are parameters to the subroutine call)
#105=0
O101 DO
G0 X#1 Y#2
#105 = #105 +1
O101 WHILE [#105 LT 5]
O100 ENDSUB

O100 CALL [1.0] [3.5] ( parameter values passed to subroutine on call )
%

Thanks,
Alan

Hi Alan,

While I may eventually add the ability to plug-in interpreters for different controls, this is a ways off. Even small differences in the way two controls handle something can mean big differences in the way the interpreter works. I *would* like to do this, but it won't happen at least until V3.

Thanks,
Scott

Scott,

I understand. I used to do software development. When you get ready you might download the source for EMC2 and take a look at its interpreter.

Thanks for keeping this in mind,
Alan
