During the working process of sawdust pellet mill, water content in raw materials is an important parameter that needs to be controlled. If it is too high or too low, molding work of saw dust pellet machine will be of failure. If water content in raw materials is higher than 17%, speed of heat-transfer between raw materials will be lowered even though the molding temperature is qualified. Since a part of heat energy is used for evaporating water content, heat-transfer speed between raw materials is influenced.


For the evaporated water, it is easy to become the high-pressure steam if being vaporized in the molding sleeve. If the steam pressure is stronger than the abrasive power between raw materials, biomass pellets in molding sleeve will be erupted out and fractured. If eruption occurs, molding efficiency of saw dust pellet machine will be influenced.

The pellets which are erupted out may threaten the life of operators. What’s worse, service life of molding parts may be shortened.
