I am in Huntsville, AL and will be building a CNC router parts 24X48 in the next couple of weeks. Any of you built one before?

Sup Mike? ;)

I'm a little south of you near Arab. I don't have a CNCRP machine, I have a small Mekanika 24x36 which I really like but am going to need a bigger machine at some point and among a couple others was considering one of the CNCRP models. I'd love to get your take on it when you get your kit. I don't know if I can be any help , but I thought I'd say hey. Did you get the standard or pro model?

Sup Dave?

I have not ordered yet but will next week, just waiting to hear what the pros and cons are to each.... Might need to lean on you for some help on some simple things like will Vcarve pro work on this machine or do I need to use a CAD/CAM program to do my design then send the G-code to Mach 3? This will be a learning experience for me.... LOL I love punishment.

Actually not yet. I am waiting for the garageworxcnc.com machine in a 4X4 unit. Once it's available I will get it

I am even further south. Stop just before you get to the Gulf. Right between Mobile and Pensacola. That is where this one lives. I like it alot. Very nice machines. This one is the CRP 4824. Good luck with whatever machine you choose.

I'm in Huntsville and on the verge of retrofitting an old VMC with a new control system. Anyone out there?
