What would you like to know? What control does the mill have?

Have you made any progress?

You need to be able to draw parts and then you need to turn drawings into G-code.

Try DeltaCAD (http://www.deltacad.com/) for drawing. It's really easy for drafting. There is a 30 day demo so you can play around a bit.

Then get SheetCAM (http://www.sheetcam.com/) for your G-code generation. There is limited functionality available until you register but you can get your feet wet.

Both are great programs and are reasonably priced. Have fun.
