I`m looking for a SIMPLE cad software to use on the shop floor just for sheetcam. I`m tired of hand writing code for simple fixtures but don`t want to have to spend time in the office on my other cadcam software.
thanks

I'm new to the CNC machine game. I've used Signlab by Cadlink since the mid 90's for vinyl cutting. I tried using the cad programs that came with my cnc plasma tables. I finally ordered the newest version of Signlab and its been great to work with for quick designs and making brackets. Its less engineering based and more user friendly. its easier than corell. they have a full line of machining software, router, laser, water jet etc. The Signlab was only about $500 and you can apply it toward one of the machine packs later if you want. they are only around $1400 or so. It may be something to look into.

I'll vote for DeltaCad and SheetCAM. It's what I use in the office!
