Hello
How can tell me something about the Siemens 810D powerline ( in DMU 50 ecoline)
Is the control system outdated?
I don’t need a high end mega control system rather a control system for training purposes and for simple separate parts.
Does it differ from the new control system from Siemens regarding user surface?
Or is easy to switch to a newer control system afterwards?
Do you know any disadvantages of it?
Many thanks in advance
David

Well the control system is good for training and separate parts.
I would not call it out of date either.

Hello,

I wouldn’t call it outdated either… It’s nothing else than a home PC
One has a Quad Quore i3 the next one a i5 or even an i7 . the i3 is not outdated but a cheaper hardware option.
Generally it’s the same with the Siemens control system… the 810D is just a hardware that is a bit weaker but cheaper as well!
For training purpose well suitable!
