I got a few questions, my cnc machine has the motors with a pinion gears moving along a makerslot extrusions that have been fitted with teeth.
I did not realize this design is sort of unusual at least to me (Im new to diy cnc). I see however that all the builds around use the threaded rods and i wonder on how much better it is. I am sure its also probably quieter and smoother?

What is a good online resource to purchase the rod and assembly (I imagine some sort of threaded block?) to make make this all work?
