I am a beginner in the world of CNC and even less when it comes to CAM software. I have been able to search and watch some tutorials but I can't seem to get Heeks to output a .ngc file. I have EMC selected for the post ( I think? ) but I keep getting a .tap.nc file when I try to save the NC files. I tried to open it in EMC2 but it doesn't like it. Any suggestions??

I'm not familiar with heeks but you should be able to change the file mask it outputs from .tap to .ngc. If not right click on the file you output and select properties. Then change the file mask there. That should take care of
it.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot later.
