View Full Version : How to check wear on Biesse Rover 322 XYZ rail bearings

My Biesse rover 322 is giving me issues when cutting. I think it is the bearings, because I can see the router head move when it is under load. I am routing 0.75" MCP with a single pass. I have done this a thousand times, with none of the issues that I am currently experiencing. The parts have excellent hold down and the cutters are band new.
Off hand I believe these are 30mm rails with scrappers on the X/Y (not sure on Z).

What can I do to reduce down time before calling in my Tooling guy? I was hoping to diagnose the bearings and have them on site for him to install.
