Hi experts

I'm designing a new CNC hobbyst controller board with 3 XYZ axis motors and a DC motor for drilling and millig.
The question is what is the convenient to use with the axis motors I have to choose between stepper motors and servo motors which are the best ones are they the stepper or the servo for a CNC case

Thank you

That's a loaded question around here!
I only use servo's so I am biased.
But if the machine footprint is small (bench top) then you most likely will get away with steppers for economy reasons.
You have to give an idea as to what size of machine and what loading you expect on the axes in question?

Well
It is 120cmx60cm router, I'd just finished the mechanic part and I'm planning to develop the electronic part then the software in a final phase. I will use it first with the wood carving
