NO IDEA WHERE TO BEGIN

im planning on purchasing the DIGITAL WOOD CARVER soon

never owned a cnc machine, never operated a cnc router

ive got all the software needed mach3 and aspire
ive been playing with the mach 3 software and believe i know enough to
get started,

but
will i need to set machine numbers?
machine limits?

Is this a ready built machine or a kit? Either way I'd expect there would be some sort of manual that will get you started down the right path.

I'd ask Digital wood carver for the mach 3 XLM file. You should be able to put that file in your mach 3 folder and then be able to open that profile from the mach 3 loader. It may not be perfect but it should get you in the ball park.
