Im new with solidcam and I don't know how the program gets its start point. Everything is from the starting g-code. The problem is that the start point is beyond my table coordanants. How do I control that how come it won't just start at all zero. Thank you for any help.

You said "solidcam" you are in "sheetCAM"...

For sheetcam:
You mean it won't put the part at z0.0 y0.0. I have that problem for some reason using "rotary cutting" as machine type.

Just manually input x0.0 y0.0 at the very bottom of the screen. That's the manual input for coordinates to move the part.

I've never had to do that in "jet cutting" mode.

Also it matters during the loading of new parts. A screen pops up "drawing options". Be sure you use the correct "drawing position"
