Dear all in the UK

Having searched the web and Ebay for sodium silicate supplies in the UK for core making I found that they all charged a high minimum postage. I found a local foundry supplies company who stocks it pre-mixed with molasses, he stocks it in 25ltr drums but was prepared to decant a small quantity for me. Mixed and gassed with CO2 and it works great. The normal sodium silicate supplies are not the best for core making as you need the higher solids type. The molasses helps with removal of the core after casting
So if there is enough interest I was thinking of offering it in 500ml poly bottles on Ebay. So please let me know, if you are in the UK, if you would be interested. A first estimate of the price would be £3.50 plus postage.

John Winter in Halifax is where I've got mine from in the past - still got two 25 litre drums only part used.
