After months of searching for a CNC mill, reading specs and more searching. Agonizing over which brand to buy. At one point, I was so close to buying a Novakon NM-200, but, they couldn't guarantee me a no problem spindle. So on I went ...looking.

Then I stumbled on this.....

It was delivered this past Friday :)

It's used, was pretty dusty, but, cleaned up well.

A touch screen monitor...

I ran up the spindle to 5000 rpm and it was smoooooth :)

It's a far cry from my old Emco round column manual mill...lol

Looks great! Can I ask what you paid for it?

Pete,
Great looking buy!
I too have been considering the NM-200, but you have taken the exact same route that I have ben procrastinating on. If you would please let us know what you think of your purchase as you go. I too will be stepping up from a smallish SX3 bench top model.
Thanks for your time and info.....

I agree, it looks very nice! I don't think I've ever come across a used Mikini. Where did you find it?

Well i haven't updated this thread since i bought my machine. Sadly, the very next day I started to have issues with my spindle and have been working on a solution with Mikini since.

I'm not going to post my trials and tribulations....just now. Hopefully the problem will be rectified soon :(
