Anyone have connected the new hypertherms 65 /85?
I cant find the J15 and J16 connectors where you get the raw volts, needed for the thc. I only find 30 volts.
thanks

You can get them from the hypertherm website. Goto powermax 85 and look through documents for download. There is a PDF for locating raw arc volts

You can get the info online at Hypertherm | Plasma Cutters | Plasma Cutting Equipment | Metal Cutting Equipment (http://www.hypertherm.com) as DPAC said, or you can email me directly and I'll forward the .pdf directly back. I tried to upload it here but the site would not accept the file.

A couple questions:

1. What machine and THC are you interfacing to?
2. Are you using a hand or a machine torch?
3. Does your Powermax85 have the CPC interface receptacle on the rear panel?

I just interfaced a Powermax85 with a machine torch on my home machine a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for answer Jim.
We` are using our own THC interface. It is working really fine with the G3 hyp's
we'll use a machine torch
Yes it has the cpc
Also we received a very fast answer from John at Hypertherm's tech
we are looking if we can connect with his instructions.
We let you know , then
Regards
Luis
