Hello,
Is there a way to manual start the spindle on a J325? Is there a screen I can get to like an MDI type screen where I can input the codes and cycle start or is it something different?

Thanks

Mode select, program, enter N. Don't forget the . otherwise it's just a line number. M3 s500 or whatever, cycle start. N. is the MDI mode on a dynapath.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply. I enter

Mode Select -> Program (#3 on the keypad)-> I type "N." and press the enter key-> then I type M3 S500->enter key
and I get a format error warning. When I get to the M3 S500 part, only the M and 3 appear in the line. The S doesnt appear on the line when I type it, but the 500 does. What am I doing wrong?

thanks

I got it figured out.

Mode Select -> Program (#3) -> "N." -> Enter -> Event Type -> M Function (#9) -> M03 -> Enter -> S500 -> Enter -> Cycle Start
