Would like to verify that new instalation of Solidcam 2009 does not include MacEdit.exe.

Thanks

MAC Edit was removed from the installation files a few releases ago (can't remember what version). I had to re-install a previous version to get it back. If you do this, make sure you only use mac edit to make changes to a copied file as it will make the mac file out of date with the newer versions of solidcam and you will lose certain functions. What I do is make the changes in mac edit, save as a copy, then I open both the original file and the new file side by side and see what mac edit has changed. You can then copy any changes across to you original file. Mac edit actually removes lines from the newer mac files which is how you loose the newer features.

Hope this helps

There is a piece of software for free download called "SuperEdi" that works quite nicely.
Just a text editor with no explinations like MacEdit but can be used for Mac & GPP files.
