SCM ROUTECH 220/ alphacam trouble with corner speed (cutting radiused corners)
Hello,
I am cutting some plam lab tops. This laminate is very hard mtl (do not have trade name yet -waiting on customer). Two part problem. Solid carbide combination sheer bits (same as I use for melamine all day long) are scoring on the edge. They are fine on the straight cuts, but when the router slows down at the outside corner they heat up and bit/cut quality breaks down. I tried to adjust the speed in the corners in my drawing program but it does not seem to make any difference. Router just continues to slow down. Has anyone else had a problem adjusting the "slow down for corners" in the edit machining drop down in alphacam? if so please let me know how you remedied the situation.
Thanks so much
Ben
