How do I create an angled plane to create an angled slot in Alibre

Hi all Please can someone help me as I am losing the plot when I come to trying to use the planes function in Alibre, basic planes I can do but angled planes on a diameter I cannot!
I need to machine a slot on a diameter at an angle of 45 degrees.
I have attached a screen grab of the part.
The angle is 45 degrees, and the angle starts at the bottom of the diameter and nearest to the front of the screen inclining back and away at 45 degrees cutting into the part. I have tried using the axis tool, but every time i use it I cannot get the correct details relating to the plane I need to use, to complete my task.

I hope I have explained this properly but if not please ask and I will be more descriptive.

Is this the sort of slot?

What version of Alibre are you using?
If you are using the latest version of Alibre Design (not Atom 3D) and it's what you are trying to do, I'll upload the file to my dropbox account for you to download and see what I've done.
