The easiest way to control the bed temp using rep is by modifying the Gcode before sending it to your printer. Also it's best to print from a sd card as it is more reliable.
Hi,
I'm a nubie to this. I've been running my printer from the SD card for a few months. I finally got the Replicator to connect to the printer. I was expecting to be able to control the bed temperature and print speed with my mouse and computer but I can't find it.
Do I need another program to do this? I actually can't find any way (printer or computer) to control the bed temp......and that's important I think !
Thanks,
Nelson

Makerbot desktop is another option it a lot of people recommend it for dualtrusion.
Hey thanks!
I don't know if you are familiar with Replicator, but when you go to make the Gcode you get a box inquiring about temps, raft, supports, which of the dual extruders to use, but nothing about bed temp. Sure I could change the code but I'm in streamline mode now....trying to make this quicker. I'll scope out Makerbot to see what it's got.

I only use replicator for updating the firmware now. You can change the code but I don't remember how off hand. If you use the quick setting box I think the changes need to be done in the startup script. I can look at it some more in the next day or 2 if you don't get it figured out before.
Startup script??? Thanks, I'll look for it. They shoulda put it in that Gcode parameter dialog box

I finally had time to check on this. What machine are you running? What version of replicator G?
For example using repg sailfish and a creator x. Goto c:\programfiles (x86)\replicatorg salifish\replicatorg-0040-sailfish\machines\replicator\dual_head_start.gcode . Search for m109 then set the s value after that to your desired hotbed temp. Should look something like this (m109 s110) t0 (set hbp temperature)- that would give you a hotbed temp of 110°
