Pros:
Cons: A Very Poor Product

I purchased BobCAD-CAM after speaking to the sales rep and being assure that it works with a 4th axis.

After receiving the product, reading the manual, going through the tutorials, and finally calling tech support I was told by Tech Support that it DOES NOT support 4th Axis.

Additionally It would not properly read any of the .dfx files that I tried to import.

So after a bunch of phone calls I finally got them to take the product back.

I went out and purchased VectorXT and it is a much nicer product, and handles .dfx files, 4th axis, and 3d properly.

Pros: bobart is kindof nice.
Cons: Annoying salespersons, doesnt calculate toolpath, it draws it.

We needed something to do a few parts, but werent ready to throw down 10k. This doesnt actually calculate toolpath, it draws it from offsets. It took me around 6 to 8 hours to program a single part that would have taken 30 minutes with most any other cam package.

Dont trust the salespersons like stated by other review, for a hobbiest that cant afford something else, this could do the job. Definately not something for a real shop.

I\'m trying to contact the original reviewer, but can\'t get his contact information. I think your examples look great and would like to know some details about how you did it. pm me if you are still around.
