Just got this drill press, on sale of course. I thought it was going to be just another heavy solid item, but it's not too bad. The column is hollow so it's not too too bad. Instructions suck as usual, but the only bit that may take some more thinking is adding the belts on. Other than that it seems to work very quietly.

Well, we finally got it all put together and I do like how quiet this thing is. The label on the casting seems to be coming off. I may have to just glue it to the top cover. So far I have read good things about these drill presses. The only thing is there is no adjustable speed controller. Everything about that is manual through the belts, so that may get old fast.

Please post your experience with this if you own one. I don't know how well this will hold up.

Again, unfortunately this area doesn't let me add the rest of the pictures so hopefully that will get fixed. It's not that many, but I do have a few more. So I'll wait and see if this gets fixed.
