Description: Here's the stand I just made for this drill press:
http://cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71129

UPDATE: It's been a few months since we bought this and well, the drill press has held up pretty well. It is now January 3, 2009! I'm finally getting around to making a small wooden stand for it. I just need to pick up some casters and that should do it. I want to be able to move this around, this is just my preference. Hopefully it won't tip over, but the brakes should do the trick on the casters.

THIS IS NOT A FLOOR MODEL - You will need to make a stand or buy one for this drill press. It gets heavy with the vise and whatever you leave on it.

Unfortunately this section still is not allowing for more than 6 pictures to be posted so I won't be doing any more picture updates.

Just got this drill press, on sale of course. I thought it was going to be just another heavy solid item, but it's not too bad. The column is hollow so it's not too heavy. Instructions suck as usual, but the only bit that may take some more thinking is adding the belts on. Other than that it seems to work very quietly.

Well, we finally got it all put together and I do like how quiet this thing is. The label on the casting seems to be coming off. I may have to just glue it to the top cover. So far I have read good things about these drill presses. The only thing is there is no adjustable speed controller. Everything about that is manual through the belts, so that may get old fast.

Please post your experience with this if you own one. I don't know how well this will hold up.

Again, unfortunately this area doesn't let me add the rest of the pictures so hopefully that will get fixed. It's not that many, but I do have a few more. So I'll wait and see if this gets fixed.
