Pros: Readout is easily readable from distance, simple
Cons:

I had problems with my first unit. They were EXTREMELY helpful and getting my out a new part almost overnight. Wonderful people.

The unit is reliable, easy to read and even easier to operate. What more can one say!

One negative: I\'m new, so I don\'t know what I\'m doing. I use flood coolant, and I let the machine sit for 3 weeks. When I came back, the coller that slides on the rail that holds the encoder had seized. When I went to use the axis I heard a large snap... broke the rod... dang! I still need to get that fixed.

Nice product though.
