Description: • Opto-isolated inputs. Isolates input
connections to protect your computer from
short circuits.
• Buffered outputs. Outputs are
buffered through integrated circuits, allowing
the card to output the signals without using
the power from the parallel port.

• Output pins 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,14,16,17

• Input pins 10,11,12,13,15.

• Input and output pins with close by ground
connections. Forget about grounding problems.
Easily connect your pin using your close by
ground connection.

• Easy installation On/Off switch. You can
control your card externally. An On/Off switch
or a Safety Charge Pump can easily be installed,
to enable or disable the card. CNC machines
could be dangerous equipment, and remember,
safety come s first. Having the power supplied
externally, gives you the ability to turn on or
off your system.
• All TTL 5VDC signals. Interface directly with
parallel port interface products and other
CNC4PC cards. 5VDC (TTL) signals are very
common among automation devices, it could
most probably take a signal from any logical
device, like a PLC.

• Works with popular CNC hardware and
software. Such as Geckodrive or Rutex, and
parallel port control software, such as Mach2,
Linux EMC, TurboCNC, CNCPlayer,
CNCZeus, and others. (Not all tested)

• Screw-On connections for all terminals.
You only have to screw-on the wires to make
all your connections.

Pros: modular package just get what you need
Cons: None

I recently purchased all the products except the charge pump offered by cnc4pc.com. I am quite happy with what I received. Because this system is modular (a board for each category) trouble shooting is quite easy if you ever have a problem. Their index pulse setup for use on lathes is compact and easy to use. The only thing you provide is an interupter disk on the spindle. The other feature is very reasonable cost for each of the boards. The other thing I like is that wire connections are all on the periphery of each of the boards. To sum it up, its great bang for the buck and very easy to set up for nice wire harnesses. You end up with a very professional looking setup when you are done.
